It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Paul Rotsaert on September 22, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. Paul is survived by his beloved wife Judy (nee Bosanac) and loving sons Tyler (Kathryn) and Michael (Kelsey).  Paul is also survived by brothers Eric, Mark (Jodie), Peter (Jennifer) and sister Nicole (Donnie). President of Rotsaert Dental Laboratory since 1998, Paul’s vision and passion for dentistry will be continued by his siblings Nicole, Eric, Mark and Peter.

Paul demonstrated a passionate determination for excellence in dental technology, as did his father, the late Henri Rotsaert.  Paul graduated from the University of Guelph in 1982 (BSc.) and became a Registered Dental Technologist in 1992.  He was a member of the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario and a long time director of Cal-Lab, an International Association of Dental Labs.  Paul was a frequent lecturer at dental meetings and symposiums, and his presence in the dental industry will be greatly missed.  His contribution to Rotsaert Dental Lab will be a much appreciated and lasting legacy to all of us as the lab continues to be a strong family-owned and operated business.  Cremation has taken place.

Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Wednesday, September 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A funeral service will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church, 272 Wilson St. E., Ancaster, on Thursday, September 25 at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow immediately at St. Augustine’s Cemetery, Dundas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wallace McCain Centre for Pancreatic Cancer at the Princess Margaret Hospital or the MS Society, Hamilton Chapter.
