Time Reduction Kits

Last June 19, 2019, Roland DGA announced the launch of the all-new Time Reduction Kits (TRK) of DGSHAPE. It produces moulded acrylic-based or gypsum material discs for accurately milling partial or even full-denture bases, as well as models using the company’s DWX dry dental mills.

The new patent-pending TRK kits allow for in-house digital denture production that is simpler and more consistent than analog processes. It is available on Roland’s DGSHAPEDEX-52D, DWX-52DC and DWX-52DCi milling machines.

Removable Denture Kit (CA-DK1)

This kit reduces in-house finishing time for partial and full denture applications, combining affordable materials with precision milling for a more accurate and cost-effective solution. It saves DWX users a significant amount of time and money compared to traditional and 3D printing methods because it streamlines the digital workflow. The kit comes with a specially designed DGSHAPE tool that mills with efficiency, precision and ease including a pre-shaped mould that minimizes wasted materials. It also makes the post-production adjustments easier. Acrylic materials allow for quicker reline and rebase processes, enabling laboratories to meet the needs of the patient faster. DWX users can expect stronger, longer-lasting output as well. Unlike the other digital denture base production methods that offer short-term results, the Removable Denture Kit combines materials to produce strong, long-term acrylic products.

Model Kit (CA-MK1)

The Model Kit is designed to simplify the denture model production process and to deliver the best and consistent results.

“Our new DGSHAPE Removable Denture and Model kits are truly unique products that no other companies within the digital dental space have offered to date,” said Roland DGA Dental Product Manager Dwight Blair. “The Removable Denture Kit reduces both the analog workflow and the material costs associated with removable denture production. Both kits perfectly complement the capabilities and increase the versatility of our cutting-edge DWX dry milling technology.”
